This is Kohnen-Station in Antartica.
It's a German Research station , located on
Dronning Maud Land , Norways part of Antartica.
I worked DP1POL/P  on 30 Mtr cw this week. Op was DL5XL.

Comments:

Mostly S/P ,but had a little run on 20 mtr. Had some issue
with some local noise on 40 mtr, most of the rtty part of the band.
That was sad since my antenna works ok on this band.
Worked 99 US and only 2 (two) VE, where was the Canadians...
Great Activity from my local area, 4 locals on.
Worked LA9DFA,LB3RE and heard LA7HJA on 20 mtr,splattering,I think
he was overdriving his amplifier, but great signal...
The aurora on sunday killed some of the fun, the higher band closed early.

                           Late Fridays evening 10 mtr open to west coast USA and i
                           worked some w6-7 and ve6. Not so often i have had this
                           experience. Great propagation the first 4 days of 2015
